I’m Dr. Michael Von Hörsten, Emergency Doctor for the Swiss organisation AdventistHelp. We set up and operate primary and emergency medical units in vulnerable refugee and internally displaced communities in various countries around the globe.
We have worked very closely with Dr. Mariwan and his team at Bring Hope Foundation. They have played a crucial role in supporting one of our biggest projects -- an emergency unit outside Mosul in Northern Iraq. Bring Hope donated a large amount of critical medicines and consumables to our very busy medical unit during the Mosul liberation process.
Their team are true humanitarians, highly professional, and they have supported numerous smaller organisations like ourselves to find our feet in quite a complex region to work.
